ROLLER SHUTTER SERVICING

All roller shutters are subject to scheduled maintenance to avoid any chance of failure. Every business must take reasonable actions to safeguard their employees and public safety, in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.You should also consider how this may effect your insurance premiums.

For electrically operate security shutters, you should carry out servicing at least once per annum. This is due to roller shutters being classed as ‘machinery’ under the Health and Safety at Work Act.
