In addition to the traditional security roller shutter products we manufacture, Roché supply and install a range of high speed doors. These  doors are suitable in the most diverse environments, where they ensure safety and efficiency in industrial scenarios.

The flexible curtain’s modular system, which can be quickly folded or rolled up, is a major feature of Roché’s high speed doors. The curtains are available in fully see-through PVC or in a wide range of colours to improve safety at work, allow quick and easy access, or to match company branding. We also offer dock levellers for loading bays.

SPECIFYING A HIGH SPEED DOOR

A high speed door helps to control vehicle traffic while providing significant energy savings. Once installed the door provides insulation by eliminating drafts which cause air and heat loss, while contributing to reduced noise and air pollution.

The door frame is manufactured from 2mm galvanised steel with no welded parts for increased solidity, and comes with a wireless resistive safety edge as standard. Access can be controlled with remote controls, push button, digital code pads or finger scanners depending on the need of the warehouse or factory.

HIGH SPEED DOOR PRICING

Pricing for high speed doors can change significantly depending on the size, speed and number of daily cycles. Roché will provide quotations for most high speed door types depending on the application, with prices starting from £2,500. Factors which will impact the door type and costs are:

• Wind Load : Depending on the environment you may require wind class 1, 2 or 3. This is available on our rapid roll and rapid fold high speed door designs.
• Fixing type : High speed doors can be installed internally or externally with the difference being the wind loads which needs to be higher for external use. 
• Controls : A radar system can be used to detect the presence of a vehicle and automatically open the door. A push button is a popular alternative with key switches or keypads available for those with added security concerns.
• Vision : Most high speed doors will have the option of a vison panel in the centre to view any potential danger with complete vision available at a higher cost.
• Installation. Customers who use Roché’s high speed door installation service will receive the peace of mind of a 1 year comprehensive product and workmanship guarantee, with ongoing service contracts available. Installation charges are based on the number of doors to be installed and the complexity of the job.
