Industries
A bespoke design makes our commercial roller shutters suitable for any business. Applications include storage units, loading bays, warehouses, factories, roller shutters for bars, reception desks, kiosks, cafes, restaurants, shops, sports or leisure centres, offices, and transport stations, amongst many others. Any type and size of opening can be secured, from external doors and windows to data centres and internal room divisions.
Installation
One of our skilled surveyors will conduct a site visit to measure up, assess your fixing requirements and discuss your needs. Your bespoke solution will then be developed to suit your preferred options in terms of security level, insulation, vision and aesthetics, and manufactured to order. A nationwide network of experienced engineers ensures we have specialists for all types of businesses and project sizes, from low-budget one-off installations to ongoing contracts with the world’s leading architects.
Sizes
Commercial roller shutters with small profile heights, such as the M411, can be used to achieve a tight roll size. This enables them to fit into compact housing for minimal impact on a building’s facade. On the other end of the scale, steel roller doors 12m wide and beyond have been designed to protect large openings such as industrial buildings and superstores.
Security
While the primary objective of most roller shutters is to provide security, the level varies by product. Some projects, such as a reception desk area, may only require a cost-effective deterrent for opportunistic thieves. In contrast, our Elite products have been tested and approved by the internationally-recognised body Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB). These commercial roller shutters have achieved insurance-approved ratings from SR1 to SR4, for security levels on par with banks and government buildings.
Finishes
Security does not need to compromise aesthetics. Choose from standard colours in the most popular RAL references, along with cost-effective natural anodised aluminium and mill steel finishes. Alternatively, a colour match powder coated finish allows commercial roller shutters to completely blend into their surroundings rather than becoming a feature in themselves. Transparent polycarbonate and other vision profiles are also available to maximise light flow.
